Teaching your bot better answers

Your bot does its best from your website and documents — but you know your business best. Whenever you'd phrase an answer differently, teach it.

How to correct an answer

1. Open your dashboard and go to the Conversations tab.
2. Click a conversation to expand it, and find the bot reply you want to improve.
3. Click the pencil icon on that reply.
4. Type the answer you'd prefer, and click Save & Teach Bot.

You'll see a ✓ Saved! confirmation, and the reply gets a Taught ✓ badge. From now on, when a customer asks something similar, the bot uses your answer as its primary reference.

Managing your teachings

The Bot Teachings tab lists every correction — the original answer, your corrected version, and a "Used N times" counter showing how often it's helping. You can edit a teaching by correcting the same question again, or delete one with the trash icon.
